Samuel Hagirimana, 28, received training and the financial support of the Caritas Rwanda’s Graduation Project, funded by UNHCR, and opened a shop. One year and half after, he has bought a farmland measuring approximately one hectare, a forest and a cow which produces milk for the family.
9 months after starting to grow the Cayenne pepper, Jean de Dieu Habarukize, built a new house for his family with the money he earned from this crop. He has also increased the cultivation surface from 6 to 30 acres.
